turning tragedy into triumph
10.4.13
you might want to read this.
so, my laptop got stolen. yes, stolen. gone.
files? work? porn collection? gone.
i allowed myself one day to just lay in bed and question the purpose of life
but afterwards decided to keep on pushing.
with that said, some things are going to change, big time.
the publication will be redirected in a more artistic direction that no longer will follow
the usual structure of a magazine. for example no more recognizable magazine layouts
with image and text. i'm restructuring how i want my magazine to be.
the blog will have some changes as well including appearance and content.
there will be bi-daily posts (God help me) in attempts to keep up with consistency.
some things will remain, such as style posts, and some things will be added,
such as more of my personal artwork and oddities that interest me.
what's displayed both on this blog and in the publication will be pushed to remain true
to the intention of what this is all about, the art and the mind.
i'm going to build my own structure from scratch and push it forward.
i'm going to turn this into a new beginning and make sure to amplify my voice as an artist.
skltn-m is about to have a bit of a redo, willingly.

i'm sure you recognize this beauty, it's Allison Harvard.
i snapped a picture of her at a house party a few weeks ago.
i needed an image to get your attention, and what better way than her?
Brian Lane
4.4.13
brian, brian, brian.
a pure genius, indeed.
brian is the mastermind behind Brian Lane, a high end menswear design label that will take you by storm.
the garments he has produced and continue to produce are visually mouth watering,
conceptually astonishing, and impeccably executed.
from goat fur and both calf and lamb leather to liquid rubber, hair spray and spray paint,
these garments are none the less exquisitely particular. he even created a leather and goat fur
backpack that unzips and transforms into a leather and goat fur jacket.
done.
it may seem like i'm spewing out bombastic adjectives but baby when it's necessary, it's necessary!
i couldn't help but to reference Resident Evil and Candy Man when wearing these beauties
and last i've checked those are some amazing references, i mean come on.
i could probably go on and on, so i'll stop myself now.
indulge in the polaroids that Brian shot during the look-book shoot that he chose moi to model for.

insanely talented designer and skilled polaroid photographer.
i mean, what can he not do?
check out Brian Lane now and prepare for excellence.
